World record progression 4 × 200 metres freestyle relay

The swimming world records over 4 × 200 meter freestyle are the best in the swimming discipline 4 × 200 m freestyle swum times. They are recognized by the International Swimming Federation FINA. World records are kept separate for long paths ( 50 m) and short tracks ( 25 m) and separately for men and women.
