Bellinger-River-Nationalpark
The Bellinger River National Park (English Bellinger River National Park ) is a national park in the Australian state of New South Wales, approximately 570 km north of Sydney near Dorrigo and Bellingen. The park was placed under protection in 1997 and has a size of 2830 ha
General
The park covers a pristine wilderness with steep slopes and valleys with impressive waterfalls. In the area there are ancient forests and subtropical rainforests.
Nature
In the park 69 bird species have been recorded, many of which are particularly adapted to the living conditions in rainforests. An endangered bird species, the Long-tailed pigeon, the Ferruginous thicket of birds, the fox hawk, the Neuhollandeule and Rußeule occur in the park.
Mammals that can be observed in the park include the Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Koalas, Quoll, the Great Long bandicoots and wallabies.

At the Bellinger River National Park borders the Dorrigo National Park and the New England National Park.
