Morton-Nationalpark

The Morton National Park is a large national park in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales, 170 kilometers south of Sydney.

The main attractions are the Fitzroy Falls just off the main road from the Highlands to Kangaroo Valley in the northeast and the Pigeon House Mountain west of Milton in the southeast corner of the park.

The park consists of a mostly flat plateau that is broken by steep valleys and canyons. The plateau falls slightly to the northeast. It extends from Bundanoon in the north to Ulladulla in the south east.

The northern part of Budawang Range is located in the park, adjoining the southwest of the Budawang National Park. In the north overthrow the Fitzroy Falls and Belmore Falls from the plateau into narrow, rainforest -lined valleys. The Shoalhaven River flows through the park in the north- west and north. The highest point is Mount Tianjara in the east at 768 m.

Morton National Park, there are also tent sites manure Haven and Beorgwic in which medieval life is maintained.
