Mount-Nothofagus-Nationalpark

The Mount Nothofagus National Park is a national park in the far northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales, 634 kilometers north of Sydney, 65 kilometers east of Warwick and 75 kilometers north- west of Lismore. On the northern edge of Mount Nothofagus National Park, on the border with Queensland, close to the Mount Barney National Park, in the southwest of Mount Clunie National Park and to the east of the Border Ranges National Park. Nearest place is Lindesay Creek in the south of the park on the same stream, which rises in the National Park.

The park, and the local mountain is named after the occurring there sham Book ( Nothofagus ). Furthermore, there is Gondwana rainforests, which are considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986 and are listed in the Australian list of natural monuments since 2007.
