Culgoa-Nationalpark

The Culgoa National Park is a national park in the north of the Australian state of New South Wales, 662 km north of Sydney, 100 km north of Brewarrina and 180 km north-east of Bourke.

The park was formed around the flood areas in the floodplain of the Culgoa River at the border with Queensland. One finds many Coolibah trees (Eucalyptus Coolabah ) and a large number of domestic animal species. Then north to the Culgoa National Park, on the other side of the border in Queensland, is the Culgoa - Floodplain National Park.

Visitors can wander through the fields by the river, the Coolibah forests or sandy hill where you can find Girasole after the spring rains. In the park there is also a small tent and picnic area, accessible by car.
