Woomargama-Nationalpark
The Woomargama National Park is a national park in the south of the Australian state of New South Wales. It is located 20 kilometers southeast of Holbrook and 30 km northeast of Albury in the Riverina. The southern end of the park is just a kilometer from Lake Hume removed, which is formed by the Murray River. The park has an east- west distance of approximately 30 km and a north- south extent of about 15 km. 2006 covered the park covers an area of 235.77 km ² and adjacent protected areas covers an area of 7.1 km ². 2010, the National Park area had increased to 241.85 km ².
The Woomargama National Park was created in January 2001 from the Woomargama State Forest, the. Dora Dora State Forest and the Tipperary State Forest along with some areas of Crown land as part of the Southern Regional Forest Agreement of 2000
