Crowdy-Bay-Nationalpark

The Crowdy Bay National Park is a national park in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales, 271 kilometers north of Sydney and 30 kilometers northeast of Taree.

The park extends from Dunbogan and Laurieton in the north to Crowdy Head and Harrington in the south. It protects vast beaches and the underlying heathland. One of the greatest natural attractions is Diamond Head, a beautiful headland.

1818 the area was discovered by John Oxley. In the park is the hut where the Australian writer and playwright Kylie Tennant lived for a time to visit.
