Booti-Booti-Nationalpark

The Booti Booti - National Park is a national park in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales, 282 km north-east of Sydney and 10 km south of Forster.

The first European inhabitants of the area was Captain J. Gogerly who sailed with timber loads from Forster to Sydney. He and some of his family members are buried in the park.

On September 30, 1977, the area that is now the park was for State Recreation Area and 1992 it was redesignated as a National Park.
