The park is located south of the Henry River and south of Sara River. The National Park is located on the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range, west of the Guy Fawkes River National Park .. The center of the park is dominated by a granite plateau, which continues eastward beyond the boundaries of the park beyond. Crown Mountain ( 1370 m) in the south and Nightcap Mountain ( 1372 m ) in the north are the highest points. The largest part of the land is hilly, but the Crown Mountain is a 300 m high, steep demolition. Floodplain forests, swamps and heaths, covered with eucalyptus and sclerophylls, dominate the landscape.
