Tapin-Tops-Nationalpark

The Tapin - Tops National Park is a national park in the eastern part of the Australian state of New South Wales, 264 kilometers north of Sydney, 45 km north-west of Taree and approximately 75 km south-west of Port Macquarie.

The National Park north of Nowendoc River is consisted with primary eucalyptus forest and rainforest. One finds a number of endangered species like the parma wallaby, the Squirrel Glider or the Sphagnum Frog ( frog ).

The highest elevation in the park is the Rowley's Lookout with 1018 m height, in 45 min. can be hiked from the parking lot. In the park there are several picnic areas.
