1959â€“60 Czechoslovak Extraliga season
The season 1959/60 1st League was the 17th regular hosting of the highest Hockey Class of Czechoslovakia. With 39 points after the main round of Rudá Hvězda Brno prevailed. For the team it was their fifth Czechoslovakian league title at all.
As in the preseason attended twelve teams at the game operation of the first league that challenged the main round in a common group. After completion of the outgoing and return the total number of matches per team was 22 games. Master was the leader at the end of the season. The two last- placed teams went directly into the second league.
Best scorer of the league was Ján Starší Slovan UNV Bratislava, who scored 28 goals in the 22 games of his team.
