1991–92 Czechoslovak Extraliga season

Playing time 1991/92 1st League was the 49th regular host the highest Hockey Class of Czechoslovakia. In the playoff finals, Dukla Trenčín sat with 3-1 victories against by the TJ Škoda Plzeň. For the team it was their first Czechoslovakian league title at all. Zetor Brno rose as the losers of Relegation against SKP Poprad PS in the second game class. Its place was taken by the motor České Budějovice, who won the League qualifier against AC Nitra 3-1 victories.

Compared to the previous season, the league was split into two groups of seven teams. The total number of matches per team was 38 games in the main round. Subsequently, the two group best qualified directly for the playoff quarterfinals, while the teams ranked three to six had in the pre- playoffs.
