2004–05 Bundesliga
First in the 2004/05 season in the Bundesliga and thus German master of men was the Bayern Munich, who also won the DFB Cup and thus the double. The season started on 6 August 2004 with the play of SV Werder Bremen against FC Schalke 04 and ended on 21 May 2005. To the beginning of the season alternated Aílton and Mladen Krstajić (both Werder Bremen) and Marcelo Bordon (VfB Stuttgart ) for FC Schalke 04 FC Bayern Munich committed champion Lúcio Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
At the end of the FC Bayern won its nineteenth championship. A long time it had been a duel between Munich and Schalke 04.
