Bünsdorf

Bünsdorf (Danish: Bynstorp ) is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Schirnau, Steinrade and Wentorf lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Bünsdorf is located about 11 km northeast of Rendsburg between the Wittensee and the North Sea-Baltic Canal. Between both the Schirnau flows. West A7/E45 of Rendsburg runs to Schleswig, north of State Road 203 from Rendsburg to Eckernförde.

History

The document in which the site was first mentioned is believed to have been written before 1190. The place was originally called Bunestorp.
