Elsdorf-Westermühlen
Sindelsdorf - Westermühlen (Danish: Elstorp - Vestermølle ) is a municipality in the Eider- Treene lowlands in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography and transport
The community is located about ten kilometers southwest of Rendsburg on the main road 203 to Heide.
Community structure
Besides Sindelsdorf and Westermühlen includes the villages of Kiekut, Hohenheide, Hohenkamp, Knaten, cross blocks, Salem, Westerweide, angle, Wittenmoor, Holmbek, Röhland and Vordamm to the community.
History
Sindelsdorf was first mentioned in 1340 as Elerstorp. Although the first part of the name is similar to the Low German name for Alder ( Eller), there is probably no etymological connection.

Of the 13 seats in the municipality, the CDU has been the municipal election 2008, five seats, the SPD has four, voters Community BfEW has three and the SSW has a seat
