Felix Endrich

Felix Endrich (* December 5, 1921; † January 31, 1953 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen ) was a Swiss Bobsportler.

The launching of the Bob - Club Zurich Endrich participated twice in the Olympic Games. In 1948 he was. At the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz Olympic champion in the two- and fourth in the four-man At the Olympic Winter Games 1952 in Oslo, he finished fourth place respectively in the two-man and four-man bobsleigh.

When Bob World Cup in 1947 in the four-man drove as the man behind Fritz Feierabend the world title in the two- he came along with his regular co-driver Fritz Waller second place. 1949 won Endrich and Waller at the World Championships in the two-man bob. 1951 won Endrich with Werner Spring bronze. In 1953 he won with his brakeman Fritz Stoeckli the World Cup Bobsleigh. A week after winning the title on the Olympic bobsleigh run Rießersee he crashed fatally there when he was thrown to the four-man event from the infamous Bayernkurve. Endrich suffered a broken neck and died on the way to hospital.
