Hohen Viecheln
High Viecheln is a municipality in the district of North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Mecklenburg- bath small, located in the municipality of the village of Mecklenburg.
Geography
The municipality is situated on the banks of the northern tip of Lake Schwerin and about 15 kilometers south of Wismar. At High Viecheln include the districts Hädchenshof, Moltow and New Viecheln.
History
The living space High Viecheln is an important locality of the Mesolithic period. In the almost undisturbed layers rich archaeological material of Maglemosian culture was recovered. Nutritional foundation was hunting. Fishing played a certain role. The collection of fruits, edible parts of plants and small animals supplemented the diet.

High Viecheln is within reach of the Baltic Sea motorway A 20 and A 14 from the neighboring bath small, there are numerous train connections to Schwerin, Rostock, Hamburg, Lübeck and Wismar. The railway bath small -Rostock runs without stopping by the High Viecheln.
