Grieben, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
Greaves is the smallest municipality in the district of North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Schönberger country located in the town of Schönberg.
Geography
The community greaves lies between the towns of Greve mills and Schoenberg in a hilly area bounded by the rivers Maurine, Radegast and Stepenitz.
To greaves the area belongs Zehmen.
History
The village is first mentioned in 1237 Slavic origin and was created as a wide Angersdorf with two parallel village streets. The large farmhouses are in good condition - the entire village ensemble is now a protected monument.
Economy and infrastructure
Agriculture plays the main role in this very fertile land having area. DB Netz AG has a branch in greaves.
Transport links
The A 20 (Lübeck - Wismar ) leads between greaves and the village Zehmen through, the next driveway ( Schönberg) is located 6 km west of the community. The greaves railway station is on the railway line Lübeck- Bad little ones.
