Geography and transport

Mielke village is located south-west of Kiel to the Eider to the Federal Highway 215 from the keel to the motorway junction Bordesholm.

History

Mielke village was first mentioned in 1238.

In today's municipality were five probably created in the High Middle Ages, villages, three of which, however, had few centuries inventory. While Johann village (Hans village), block Hagen and Belekendorf were abandoned, Mielkendorf and Steinfurt have been preserved.
