Plüschow

Plüschow is a municipality in the district of North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The municipality is the Office Grevesmühlen country located in the town of Greve mills, which forms an administrative community with the Office, managed.

Geography

The community Plüschow is 9 km southeast of Greve mills and is about 17 km from Wismar. The hilly area is crossed by numerous trenches - as a mill stream united - drain for Stepenitz.

In the north, the village is a forest- rich terminal moraine follows, the above up to 113 m. NN increases. Here, in Everstorfer forest and south of the national road 105 there are important megalithic tombs.

To Plüschow include the districts Friedrich Hagen, Hilgendorf, Meierstorf, Naschendorf and Waldeck.

Mansion in Plüschow that had built Philipp Heinrich von Stenglin 1763, in which an art club is located today, which performs various cultural events.

In the district of Friedrich Hagen there is a Gothic brick church with a valuable interiors. The village church Friedrich Hagen is co-managed by the parish Dambeck - Beidendorf.

Economy and infrastructure

The area around Plüschow is determined mainly by agriculture. In the district Naschendorf a gravel plant is operated.

Traffic

The new Federal Highway 20 divides the municipality in half. The next junction ( Greve mills) located 6 km west of Plüschow. The B 105 is touching the north of the municipal territory. The Plüschow railway station is on the railway line Lübeck- Bad little ones.
