Rodenbek

Rodenbek is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Annenhof, Hohenhude, Hohenhude settlement, fame and Steinfurt lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Rodenbek lies between the Eider Valley, the Westensee and the State Forestry Rumohrer wood, about 8 km southwest of Kiel on the Autobahn 215

History

The community Rodenbek originated in 1951 when she separated from Mielkendorf, the first documentary mention one of its districts was, however, already 1469.

The old school is one of the last remaining schools from the 18th century in the district.
