San Angelo Outlaws
The San Angelo Saints were an American ice hockey team from San Angelo, Texas. The team played from 2001 to 2005 in the Central Hockey League.
History
The team was founded in 1997 under the name of San Angelo Outlaws as a franchise of the Western Professional Hockey League. In this they played until the dissolution of the League after the 2001/ 02 season. With some other teams, the Outlaws were transferred to the Central Hockey League, in which they missed in their first season as a Division - Last the playoffs for the Miron Cup clearly. Then the Club in San Angelo Saints has been renamed. Under this name played the Texans, until the responsible parties in 2005 the operation of gambling einstellten and dissolved the franchise. In their last two seasons they each reached the first playoff round, which at the same time also represented the greatest success in the eight years of club history.
