Todenbüttel

Todenbüttel is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Maisborstel situated in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Todenbüttel is 20 km south west of Rendsburg and 26 kilometers east of Heath in a rural environment. To the east runs the main road 77 from Rendsburg to Itzehoe and south-west, the Federal Highway 23 from Heide to Hamburg. To the north runs the North Sea-Baltic Canal.

History

Historically settlement Todenbüttel belongs to the constable - towns. The Evangelical Lutheran Trinity Church Todenbüttel inaugurated on 5 October 1863 after two years of construction Bishop Wilhelm Heinrich Koopmann one. The parish includes Beringstedt, Haale, Lütjenwestedt, Osterstedt and Todenbüttel. Before the church was built, Todenbüttel belonged to the parish Schenefeld.

Economy and infrastructure

Education

At the community school villages Todenbüttel include the communities Embühren, Haale, Beringstedt, Seefeld, Osterstedt, Nienborstel and Todenbüttel. The school building consists of three largely interconnected tracts and the old school building from 1951. In 1998 they were disabled in some cases expanded.
