1938 World Table Tennis Championships

The 12th World Table Tennis Championship took place from 24 to 29 January 1938 in London ( England) in the 8000 -seat Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Hall.

This time there were a few innovations: The height of the net was reduced to 6 inches. And the American " notch spreads " were no longer permitted. Furthermore, the time rule was modified: after more than 20 minutes a game should be finished. Otherwise winner is the one that goes straight.
