1987–88 DFB-Pokal

DFB Cup winner 1988, Eintracht Frankfurt. Uli Stein, the goalkeeper had been a year earlier won the DFB Cup with Hamburger SV and was able to defend the title with Eintracht Frankfurt. The HSV was against it failed in the semifinals against VfL Bochum. In the subsequent European Cup Winners' Cup, the Frankfurt dropped out during their last participation in the quarter finals against the defending KV Mechelen.
