Schildetal

Schildetal is a municipality in the district of North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. It was formed on 7 June 2009 from the voluntary association of municipalities and Badow Renzow and was first called Badow - Renzow. On 1 October 2009 the name was changed to Schildetal. The community is managed by the Office Lützow - Lübstorf based in the municipality of Lützow.

Geography

The community is located about 20 kilometers west of the state capital Schwerin at the headwaters of the rivers shields and brews. The hilly surroundings (up to 70 m above sea level. NN ) is determined by fields, meadows and small forests. In the south, the municipality borders the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim.

The municipality includes the districts Schildetal Badow, Renzow and Soehring.
