Authie (Somme)
Authie ( Picard: Eutie ) is a northern French village with 306 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality belongs to the canton Acheux -en- Amiénois and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Coquelicot.
Geography
The community on the edge of the historical Artois lies in the valley of the authie to the department streets D176 of Thièvres (Somme ) to Mailly- Maillet, D152 of Marieux in the west and Couin in the Pas -de- Calais in the east around 7 km north- west of Acheux- en- Amiénois. The inhabitants are referred to as Alteens or Alteins.
