Fourdrinoy

Fourdrinoy ( Picard: Fordinoé ) is a northern French village with 352 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes de l' Ouest d' Amiens, in the canton Picquigny.

Geography

Fourdrinoy is located 4 km south-west of and immediately adjacent to the department Picquigny roads D121 and D141; the Department of Road D156 Picquigny after Molliens- Dreuil runs through the municipality. The Bois de Cavillon extends predominantly in the territory of Fourdrinoy.

Attractions

  • The church of Saint -Jean -Baptiste with a mighty square tower and equipment pieces mainly from the 18th century, in 1926 as a monument historique registered ( Base Mérimée PA00116160 ).
  • Two British soldiers' graves from the Second World War in the cemetery.
