Bouchon (Somme)

Bouchon is a northern French village with 151 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Nièvre et environs, in the canton Picquigny.

Geography

Bouchon is located about 6 km southeast of Ailly- le-Haut - Clocher and west of L' Étoile. The community is on the right of the Somme, but has no part in the riparian zone. It extends north over the Autoroute A16 addition to the ruins of the mill Moulin de Mouflers.

History

During the construction of Autoroute A16 a prehistoric archaeological site of La Tène period was discovered
