Oissy

Oissy ( Picard: Oéssy ) is a northern French village with 238 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes du Sud -Ouest Amiénois, in the canton Molliens- Dreuil.

Geography

Oissy lies to the east of the river Saint -Landon at the Department of Road D156 Picquigny after Molliens- Dreuil and around 8.5 km south-west of Picquigny.

Attractions

  • The castle domain with the ruins of the early 18th century by François Trudaine built in 1946 and burnt down castle with portal, two pavilions, ruined castle, park and canal in 2001 as a monument historique registered ( Base Mérimée PA80000032 ).
