Bonnay (Somme)

Bonnay is a northern French village with 243 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the canton of Corbie and is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Somme.

Geography

The traversed by the road department D23 from Corbie after Doullens community lies in the marshy valley on the right bank of the Ancre, and its eastern man-made sidearm La Boulangerie and extends to the Territory D929 road from Amiens to Bapaume.

History

The church was under the rule of Corbie, which the moorland owned until 1886 in the valley.
