Fourcigny

Fourcigny is a northern French village with 183 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes du Sud -Ouest Amiénois, in the canton Poix- de -Picardie.

Geography

The community is located about 5 km east of Aumale on the border of the Somme and Oise. In the west the municipality is limited by the department road D315. In the north, it does not quite reach the Territory road D1029 ( former Route nationale 29), in the south, the municipality extends to the railway line from Amiens to Rouen ( railway station in neighboring Fouilloy ). To Fourcigny heard the hamlet of Beaurepaire.
