Aebtissinwisch

Aebtissinwisch is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography and transport

The municipality is located in the west of the district of Steinburg and borders, separated by the North Sea Canal, to the circle Dithmar. The Wilsterau flows through the community.

History

1541 the village was first mentioned. The name of the place comes from the wiper (grassland) of the abbess of the monastery Itzehoe.

Policy

Since the municipality has less than 70 inhabitants, it has a community meeting place of a municipal council; these belong to all citizens of the community.
