Dünfus

Dünfus is a municipality in the district Cochem-Zell, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Treis- carding.

Geography

Dünfus situated in a depression to the south of Brohlbachs west of the communities Brohl and Forst ( Eifel). To Dünfus includes the residential places Weier mill and Rosental yard.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1288. 1686-1688 was the construction of a chapel in honor of St. Bartholomew.
