Günther Huber

Günther Huber ( born October 20, 1965 in Bruneck ) is a former Italian bobsledder.

Günther Huber comes from a sports-loving family from Brunico in South Tyrol; his brothers Norbert Huber Wilfried Huber and won medals in luge at the Olympic Games in Albertville and Lillehammer.

Günther Huber was bob pilot.

At the Olympic Games in 1994 in Lillehammer, he won with a brakeman Stefano Ticci the bronze medal in two-man behind the two Bobs from Switzerland.

His biggest success Günther Huber at the 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano; together with brakeman Antonio Tartaglia he won the gold medal in the two- to coincide with the Canadian Pierre Lueders Bob / David Mac Eachern ( both time: 3:37:24 ).

At the World Championships in the two- Günther Huber won in 1997 with Antonio Tartaglia the silver medal, 1999, he won gold.
