Geography and transport

Munster village is situated about two kilometers south of Itzehoe at the sturgeon on the Münster villages Geest island. Close to the main roads running 5 and 77, as well as the federal motorway 23

History

Spin-off

On 1 February 1973 a part of the territory with at that time more than 100 people in the neighboring community of width castle was ceded.

Policy

Of the 13 seats in the municipal council have the SPD and the voter community DMW since the local elections in 2013 and five voters Community KIM three seats.
