1963 Copa Libertadores

The Copa Campeones de América in 1963 was the 4th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 9 teams took part, including 7 national champion last year and from Brazil holders FC Santos and the winner of the cup competition, the Taça Brasil, since there is no national championship was not held. Bolivia and Venezuela had no representatives at the start. The tournament began on April 7 and ended on September 11, 1963 with the final second leg. The Brazilian representative Santos successfully defended his title from last year won the final against CA Boca Juniors.
