Boussicourt

Boussicourt ( Picard: Bouchicourt ) is a northern French village with 80 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Montdidier, in the canton Montdidier.

Geography

The approximately eight kilometers north of Montdidier at the department road D250 municipality located in the countryside Santerre on the left ( southern ) bank of the Avre extends to the southwest almost to the department of road D935.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
