Esclainvillers

Esclainvillers ( Picard: Éclainvilé ) is a northern French village with 150 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Noye, in the canton Ailly- sur- Noye.

Geography

The in the west extending to the street department D14 municipality is located approximately 12 km south-west of Moreuil and 9 km south-southeast of Ailly- sur- Noye at the department road D188.

History

Esclainvillers is called 1105. Since 1209 was a priory. The hamlet of Saint -Martin and its chapel were destroyed in the 17th century.
