Müden (Mosel)

Weary ( Mosel) ( dialect: chickweed ) is a municipality on the Moselle River in Cochem- Zell, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Treis- carding. Tired is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geography

Weary lies within the vineyards on the sunny side of the Mosel valley. Limited is in the north of the Eifel and in the south of the Moselle and Hunsrück. The wine, which developed the major waterway Moselle and the proximity to the medieval castle Eltz give the place a special character. Too tired includes the district Müdenerberg with sports court, green waste space and a chapel.

Neighboring communities, Treis- carding in the West, Wierschem in the north, Mosel core and castles in the east and Lütz are in the south.

History

A Roman settlement ( Modinum ) of Celtic origin is proven by numerous finds. The place was first mentioned around the year 585. With the occupation of the left bank of the Rhine in 1794 by French revolutionary troops ended the centuries- long rule Kurtriers. Under the French administration weary belonged until 1814 to the canton Munstermaifeld. 1815 it to the Congress of Vienna was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia. After the invasion of Americans in weary at the end of World War II it was part of the French zone of occupation. Since 1946 it has been part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded.

The local council in weary consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 of personalized proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Sports

The joint football team SV Grün-Weiß weary 1971 eV and the FSV " Eltz " Mosel core is called SG weary / Mosel core, which plays in the 2013/2014 season in the county league A. Education

Traffic

Weary lies on the Moselle route and day buses at least every hour by a regional train. The nearest long-distance train station with IC traffic is the Cochem Train Station. In addition, weary is 416th on the main road

Economy
