Geography

The Parchim lay to the west of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Neighboring districts were in the north of the district North West Mecklenburg and Güstrow, east of the Müritz district, in southern Brandenburg Prignitz and west of the district of Ludwigsburg, lust, and the district-free city Schwerin. History

1925, the Office Parchim, as one of ten new offices in Mecklenburg was formed in Mecklenburg -Schwerin from the old offices Parchim and Lübz. The cities Goldberg, Lübz, Parchim and Plau, and 135 more communities belonged to 131,903.1 acres of office area.
