Severin, Germany

Severin is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Parchimer surrounding headquartered in Parchim.

Geography and transport

Severin is situated in a flat plane, which rises slightly towards the east. Here are also the highest points of the community with nearly 76 m above sea level. NHN. History

The place Severin is mentioned in 1265, first documented as Ceberin. The place name is probably derived from the old Slavic word for sebrŭ Bauer. So the place simply means farming village or was named after the location of the locator Sebor Sebor.

  • Neo-Renaissance chateau ( manor ) to the 1880s. The last owner before 1945 was Günther Quandt.
