Brunow
Brunow is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Grabow based in Grabow.
The municipality consists of the villages Bauerkuhl, Klüß and Löcknitz.
Geography
Brunow is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim, bordered to the south by the state of Brandenburg and is located in the very sparsely populated area southwest of the Ruhner mountains.
On aerial photographs you discover in Brunow distinct characteristic features of a green village. Houses and farms are star-shaped around a central village square with church. In contrast, the district Klüß is a typical street village.
History
The construction of Brunow suggesting a Wendish Roundabout village from the 12th century. The first documentary mention in which it came to a land sale, dates from the year 1340. According to the lossy Thirty Years War, settled again peasants. Its history is linked to the 18th century with that of Dambeck because Brunow until then was part of the main good Dambeck. Then we went over in sovereign possession. After Brunow and Büdnerkolonie founded in 1827 " Löcknitz " were raised to a community with extensive self-government, carried the village until after the Second World War, the name " Brunow - Löcknitz ". The incorporation of Bauerkuhl took place in 1950. During a two years later following administration reform Brunow came from the circle to the circle Parchim Ludwig lust at first, later in the circle pearl mountain. On 1 August 1992 Brunow was re- assigned to the district of Ludwigsburg, like now from the Brandenburg circle pearl mountain.
