Dambeck
The municipality is part of the Office Dambeck Grabow in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ).
Geography
Dambeck lies in a flat field and meadow landscape in the south of the county near the upper Löcknitz and adjacent to the Brandenburg district Prignitz. Northeast of the community are the Ruhner mountains. The mostly agricultural community lands are drained by outfall towards Karve, Brunower mill creek and Löcknitz. Larger contiguous forest areas do not exist in the municipality. 19 km east lies the closest major city, the Brandenburg pearl mountain. The town lies north-west Ludwig Lust is about 23 kilometers away.
History
Dambeck was first mentioned in 1366. Finds evidence of a settlement from the earliest Iron Age. In addition, the remains of a Slavic castle rampart were found in a quarry southwest of Dambeck. In the center of the village is the Romanesque / Gothic Feldstein village church.
On 1 August 1992 Dambeck was assigned to the district of Ludwigsburg, like from the now Brandenburg circle pearl mountain.

Traffic
Approximately twelve kilometers north of Dambeck runs the federal highway 24, which can be reached via the Parchim connection. West of the church the route of the planned motorway 14 runs The Federal Highway 5 runs south of the community along.
