Bredstedt

Geography

The city is located on the outskirts of Schleswig 's Geest at the foot of the Stollberg, one of the highest elevations of the district of North Friesland. History

Bredstedt was first mentioned in 1231 in Erdbuch by the Danish King Waldemar II as Brethaestath ( large site).
