Fresnoy-en-Chaussée

Fresnoy -en- Chaussée ( Picard: Fréneu -in- Cœuchie ) is a northern French village with 108 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) by the Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Moreuil, in the canton Moreuil.

Geography

The church in the countryside Santerre is bounded on the north by the department of road D934 (formerly Route nationale 334); she is about 8 km east of Moreuil.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
