Kuden is a municipality in the district of Dithmarschen in Schleswig-Holstein.

Geographical Location

The village is located in the southeastern Dithmar, near the North Sea-Baltic Canal to the L 139 between Buchholz and Eddelak.

History

The municipal area there is an approximately 800 erected castle wall, from which the sunken in the bog base and in an open field is still preserved. The town itself was first mentioned at the turn of 13th and 14th century.
