Trier-Saarburg

The district Trier -Saar castle is a district in the west of Rhineland -Palatinate at the border with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Geography

The district Trier -Saar castle extends from Bitburger Land of the Moselle River to the western Hunsrück into it. In the West, the Sauer, and the Upper Moselle form the border with Luxembourg. History

Today the district belonged to 1794 mainly for Electorate of Trier and the Duchy of Luxembourg.
