Balâtre

Balâtre ( Picard: Balate ) is a northern French village with 84 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Grand Roye Roye, in the canton.

Geography

The community is located approximately 6.5 km to the east of Roye at the department of road D248.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
