Diefmatten

Diefmatten is a commune of 294 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Altkirch, for Canton Dannemarie and is a member of the Association of Municipalities Porte d'Alsace.

Geography

The municipality is located in the valley of Diefmatten Largue influx Soultzbach, about 20 kilometers southwest of Mulhouse near the Burgundian Gate. Due to the north of the municipal territory, the A leads 36 (Mulhouse - Besançon).

Neighboring communities of Diefmatten are Soppe -le- Bas in the north, Gildwiller the east and southeast, hedges in the south, southwest, and Sternberg in Bretten in the west ( point of contact ).
